Lauren Hancock is The Wiseman Group’s resident data scientist and behavioral economist. Her work centers around the task of using quantitative and rigorous methods to understand squishy things like human interactions and decisions.
Lauren studied behavioral economics and experimental design at Brigham Young University and the University of Cambridge. Previously, she has worked in national security and defense policy, game theory, and journalism.
Lauren enjoys reading voraciously, baking sourdough bread, and volunteering as a translator for Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian languages. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two daughters.
